Oil Pressure Switch

Above, the new Oil Pressure Switch Nissan # 25240-89960. My cost through the dealer was $10.41. This switch replaces the original Oil Pressure Switches Nissan # 25240-89920 AND Nissan # 25240-89915.

Here is a side by side comparison.

Another comparison view from the top.

As can be seen from the photos, the new Oil Pressure Switch has a thicker seal where the black plastic housing protrudes from the metal casing. The oil leak seeps through the switch at that point on the old Oil Pressure Switch with the white plastic housing.

Oil Filter Bracket

The pictures above say it all. You can see where the casting cracked off. UGH! The piece that broke is in the two lower pictures. That is where the Oil Pressure Switch is screwed into when it is in one piece. Yea, when it was in one piece.

The new Oil Filter Bracket cost me $50.82 through the dealer and the Nissan # is 15238-53J01. I also needed to replace the O-Ring Seals (2), Nissan # 15066-5E510. My cost though the dealer was $3.50/each.
